If you are currently using On Your Own Coast-to-Coast 2009, we recommend using this patch to upgrade to version 1.3. This patch corrects problems some users may encounter and will enhance its operation.

Versions Affected:

On Your Own Coast-to-Coast 2009 versions 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2.
Please note: Do not install this software patch if you are using OYO Coast-to-Coast 2007.

Main Issues Addressed:

  • Shopping - all items have been alphabetized for easier shopping.
  • Shopping - the cookbook required purchase is now being accepted as a purchase at Target.
  • Cars - updated prices for some models.
  • Gasoline usage - the amount of gas in a user's tank is restored after saving and reloading .
  • Health Insurance coverage - all jobs in the Professional category now provide health insurance coverage as a fringe benefit. Non-professional jobs do not provide coverage.
  • Emergencies - issues with deductible amounts.

Solution:

Download and install the appropriate software patch below for Windows or Mac.

Windows:
1. Download the file above
2. Right click on the downloaded file
3. Click "Extract all"
4. Click the "Next" button
5. Click the "Browse" button and locate the "movies" directory inside of the original program installation—for example, F:\Courses\OYOCTC\movies
6. Click the "OK" button
7. Click the "Next" button
8. Windows will display a "Confirm File Replace" dialog box—click the "Yes to All" button
9. Click the "Finish" button
Download Patch		 Macintosh:
1. Download the file above
2. Double click on the downloaded file
3. Drag the files included in the archive to the "movies" directory inside of the original program installation—for example, Macintosh HD\Documents\OYOCTC\movies
4. The Mac OS will ask if you want to replace the existing items in the location—select "Apply to all" and "Replace"
