Problems accessing all of the situations in the proper sequence within the Insurance activity of the program.
Versions Affected:
Dollars & Sense Cars
Problem:
Your students may have difficult accessing all of the insurance situations within the Insurance activity of the program. The simulation may unexpectedly skip from situation 1 to situation 6 without allowing the user to work through situations 1-5.
Solution:
Download and install the appropriate software patch below for Windows or Mac.
Windows:

Download the file above |
| 2. |
Right click on the downloaded file |
| 3. |
Click "Extract all" |
| 4. |
Click the "Next" button |
| 5. |
Click the "Browse" button and locate the "movies" directory inside of the original program installation—for example, F:\Courses\Dollars&Sense\movies |
| 6. |
Click the "OK" button |
| 7. |
Click the "Next" button |
| 8. |
Windows will display a "Confirm File Replace" dialog box—click the "Yes to All" button |

Click the "Finish" button |

Macintosh:
| 1. |
Download the file above |
| 2. |
Double click on the downloaded file |
| 3. |
Drag the files included in the archive to the "movies" directory inside of the original program installation—for example, Macintosh HD \Documents\Dollars&Sense\movies |

The Mac OS will ask if you want to replace the existing items in the location—select "Apply to all" and "Replace" |
